Family

This week has been a doozy!  On tuesday I got a really bad migraine that kind of knocked me out for the majority of the day.  I had a super long day yesterday.  It was a good day, just long.  I am not used to a long day, so it really takes it out of me.  I feel like I am doing really well at work.  I know this sounds so silly, but ever since I was little I always wanted to be a receptionist or work at a computer and on the phones.  I’ve done it before and felt all super special, and I do.  I feel important.  LOL.  I know it’s totally crazy, but I love being on the phones.  When I first started this job just a few weeks ago, I didn’t know I was going to be on the phone at all.  I was hired to be in the lab making crowns and bridges, but they needed help with outstanding insurance claims, so they started training me, and I feel like I am doing a really good job!

Last night I went over to grandpas to talk to his wife and I found out that my Uncle Dale and Aunt Mary were coming in to town with their son (my cousin) and his family.  So that was nice to get to chat with them.  I don’t know my Uncle Dale as much as I want to.  I just know he is super fun.  If you ever wanna have a good time, just call on Uncle Dale.  It’s just hard to get him to sit still long enough to have a real conversation with him.  lol  My Uncle David was there too, another one that I don’t know as well.  He is more reserved.  I wish I knew him better, guess I will have to work on that.  But I got to talk with Aunt Mary.  I just LOVE that lady.  She is so easy to talk to, and over the past few years I really feel like I have gotten closer to her.  I am always so happy to see her, and when she comes to town I wanna make sure I get to have a chat with her.  We told a few stories and caught up on the new job.  She said she should be in town again in the next few months so I am looking forward to that.  I missed my Aunt Peggy.  She lives about 20 minutes away, so I thought she might be there.  I always try to make it when family is in town, unless I really can’t.  It’s hard sometimes because I find out last minute.

Anyhoo.  Thanks to everyone who entered my giveaway.  It sure was fun celebrating my 2 year Blogoversary!!!

  1. Sounds like you had a great time with your family and all the catching up you got to do. I wish I was able to do that more with my family. But that was so nice to get with them all.

  2. I LOVE good times with family! I have been trying to concentrate more on those things lately–the things that really matter. :)

    • They can get lost sometimes, but as long as we always come back around to reality and what’s important I think things work out in the end.
