How to make Pumpkin Bread from scratch

This is my grandmother’s recipe. She always made pumpkin bread from scratch. This is so moist and delicious, you will have to try it!

  • 3 C flour
  • 3 C sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of ground cloves
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 C water
  • 1 C canned pumpkin

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Sift together dry ingredients.  Beat eggs, oil, water and pumpkin.  Add dry ingredients, blend and pour into greased loaf pans.  Bake 1 hour.
